CostEstimator is a free-to-use home improvement cost estimator. When you use a calculator, we process the values you enter (project size, ZIP code, material choices) to compute an estimate. These inputs are shared with our estimate URL for saving/sharing but are not tied to your identity unless you create an account.

If you create an account, we store your email and any preferences. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address.
